T.O.U.C.H. operates under the non-profit umbrella of Metropolitan Community Services (MCS). Incorporated on February 21, 1984, MCS provided temporary residential services to male and female homeless individuals, which included recent releasees. MCS served hundreds of individuals, providing temporary housing and the needed guidance towards establishing stable housing.
MCS's renewed focus now addresses and provides recently released offender reentry services, i.e. T.O.U.C.H.: Teaching Opportunity Unity by Connecting Hearts. On July 1, 2008, T.O.U.C.H. launched its pilot released offenders mentoring program with the support of the Columbus Ohio Urban League. T.O.U.C.H. now conducts its programming out of the T.O.U.C.H. facility located at 3968 E. Main St., Whitehall, Ohio.
