REQUIREMENTS: "TOUCH" is designed to be a very intense program for pre-selected clients who satisfy certain pre-release criteria such as; educational, personal, mentoring, substance abuse, and pre-release programming. The "TOUCH" programming is designed to effectively assist prisoners towards positive re-integration into society. "TOUCH" is defined as: 1) TEACHING necessary life skills; 2) Providing employment OPPORTUNITY; 3) exercising UNITY by; 4) CONNECTING with prisoners not withstanding the prison walls with; 5) open and spirit filled HEARTS. Our goal includes establishing effective release programs with a purpose of developing responsible men for reintegration.

TOUCH is designed to address many of the unknowns that may frighten ex-offenders upon their release. TOUCH will assist meeting housing, clothing, transportation, computer training, and employment needs which is designed to help level the playing field for ex-offenders. Our stringent screening process and required criteria positions participants on the path to a successful and productive re-entry into society.

INMATE MENTORING PROGRAM:

(Institutional Level): At this level, during the near release and most critical portion of their sentences,  inmates are required to participate in and complete an Inmate Mentoring Program covering topics and skills development in the areas which heavily address improving self-esteem and several other skill developement techniques needed for successful re-entry.

(Post Release Level): At this level, ex-offenders will be put through exercises where they will practice and learn to execute techniques and skills developed during the Institutional Inmate Mentoring Program courses.
